How MediCall Works:

Verified Access to Country-Specific Medical Exam Prep

MediCall partners with medical schools and hospitals to provide verified doctors and medical students with country-specific exam preparation resources (e.g., PLAB, FCPS, MBBS). Access is provisioned by institutions or through one-time individual verification completed outside the iOS app. The iOS app functions as a reader app: users sign in to view entitlements already assigned on MediCall servers.

Who We Serve
• Medical universities and teaching hospitals seeking cohort-wide access for students and clinicians.
• Verified individual clinicians and students who complete eligibility verification with MediCall.

What You Get
• Country-specific exam tracks aligned to local syllabi and guidelines.
• High-yield MCQ banks and recall questions organized by system and difficulty.
• Focused study modules and structured outlines for time-boxed preparation.
• Progress tracking and analytics to identify strengths and gaps.

How Access Works — Institutional Onboarding

  1. Institution engagement and agreement: academic administrators coordinate with MediCall outside the app to define eligible cohorts, the exam tracks to be enabled, and the access window.

  2. Roster and identity mapping: the institution securely provides a roster (for example, domain emails or student IDs). MediCall maps identities on its servers and creates entitlement records for the defined cohort.

  3. Provisioning on MediCall servers: time-bound entitlements (such as PLAB or FCPS tracks, country syllabus, analytics) are assigned with start and end dates.

  4. Sign-in on iOS/Android/Web: the user signs in and the app reads existing server entitlements; content shown is limited to what has already been assigned. The iOS app does not display prices, purchasing prompts, or external payment links.

  5. Ongoing roster updates: if eligibility changes, the institution updates its roster and MediCall adjusts server entitlements; the app reflects changes at next sign-in or refresh.

How Access Works — Individually Verified Users

  1. Eligibility request is submitted to MediCall outside the app.

  2. MediCall verifies doctor or medical-student status.

  3. A time-bound entitlement is created on MediCall servers.

  4. The user signs in on the app to view content that has already been assigned to the account.

Why Verification Is Required
• Academic integrity: aligns institutional access with eligible cohorts.
• Patient safety: keeps specialized materials with trained or in-training clinicians.
• Account security: helps prevent misuse, credential sharing, and duplicate accounts.

Platform Behavior
• iOS: reader-app experience. Users sign in to view server-provisioned entitlements. No pricing, no in-app purchasing prompts, and no external payment links.
• Android and Web: reflect the same server-provisioned entitlements defined by institutional agreements or individual verification.

Data Protection and Privacy
• Country/region is used to load the correct exam jurisdiction and syllabus required for core functionality.
• Phone number is used for account integrity (verification, recovery, and anti-abuse).
• Gender is used only to prioritize relevant specialty recommendations, such as OB-GYN.
• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, purpose-limited, not sold for advertising, and may be revised or deleted upon user request in accordance with MediCall’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Exams and Regions (Examples)
• PLAB (United Kingdom), FCPS (Pakistan), MBBS (regional variants).
• Additional tracks may be added in collaboration with partner institutions.
